Usually I don't bet on the early lines because ProLine will use that to gauge on how much people are spending on a particular spread and will adjust accordingly so i normally just wait until the final lines come out on Friday and start pounding them
Also another angle to look at is the official injury report produced by the NFL won't be available until every Thursday so another reason to wait a bit
Some lines do jump out though
I like Buffalo to beat the road-woeful Cards who just came off a big win last week and Tennessee (pending McNair's status) to beat Cincy (the team that won on MNF usually loses the next week for whatever reason, shorter schedule, emotional roller-coaster etc with Philly the only exception this year!)
Back with more thoughts later

Oreo, You got guts to picking giants over the vikings. Gaints haven't beaten a team with a winning record this year.

Amen to that brother. Plus Moss at 50% is still better than 90% of normal receivers. Go Vikings, my favorite team!

Well Vikings have one of the worst defense in the league, at least in terms of allowing passing yardage.
Giants have way too many weaponts in Warner, Barber, Shockey, Hilliard, Toomer etc to ignore, plus Warner used to spend time playing in St Loo's dome so this is not new territory for him. Couglin will sure have the troops fired up after last week's loss to the Leos
I watched the Vikings play last week against the Titans without McNair and i'm not impressed 1 bit, so i'm not surprised to see the G-men to cover this spread if not win S/U
Hey Oreo, on 1 ticket you have Dal to cover the -2.5 spread but on the other ticket you have Detroit to win by 4 ??
Other than that, all tickets look solid man, gl and let's bring in the $$$
I just bought 1 small ticket last night while filling up at the station
Bills by 4
Titans by 4
Cowboys by 4
More to follow because I'm looking at the college games now

I always play a variety of tickets, I have 6 more that I didn't post up, like O/U and theme tickets (I'll explain later). That and I always discuss picks with my friends and they seemed to like Dallas and I wasn't absolutely partial to Det winning so I thought I'd mix it up. Can't win em all ;)

Of course the Vikings have one of the worst defenses in the NFL! The whole idea is that no other defense in the NFL can stop them. They win by simply scoring more points than the other team can. You want to talk about weapons the Giants have, how about you talk about weapons the Vikings have. We will see tomorrow I suppose :D

Jacksonville, New England & Oakland hurt me on a lot of tickets with JAK costing me the most. Made some good calls, got hit on my supposed locks, another week breaking even with GB & Philly winning their games.

I screwed up pick on one ticket and i got 1/12 in point spread. I picked Houston but my first instinct was to pick Jacksonville. Next time i'll just pick the reverse of my instincts.

Everybody has bad weeks, the first two weeks in the season I did very poorly, but I've picked it up since then. Positive on the year so far.

Hehe, just reverse all of your picks and you'll probablly win the $2000 next week. But honestly don't sweat it; it is really hard to win parlay bets, I wish pro-line would allow straight bets with better odds... they make too much off of us... time to go offshore I think. Thanks again guys for all the help!

If Proline offers straight bets, we can all expect 50% increase in tax to cover the losses, i'm willing to bet the mortgate on the NYJets and Dolphins to go over 35.5 tonight ^_^ and it's looking pretty sweet so far, 24 points at the half...

Hey guys... Didn't realize there were so many NFL fans on the forum.
My buddy and I had created an NFL handicappers website a few years back and would like to share it with you all. Take the tour if you have a chance and let me know what you think... I promise no spam advertising or any other ********.

Thanks Canabiz...
Appreciate it... I saw that you signed up. Too bad about the Rams losing to Miami a few weeks ago. Looking forward to seeing them against the Pats...
Good luck to you as well.
