Just out of curiosity, what is the record for most replies to a thread?

That Mentos/DVD thread has been going forever! Let it die, Guys and Gals - Let it Die!

You can go to advance search and search for threads with at least 1000 replies with search term - buy.

1. Post the 10,000th Message and Win an Xbox!!
2. Pepsi.
3. FutureShop.ca Thank You! Contest - $1000 GC!

Either the FS boxing day thread, or the current iPod thread?

I think the pepsipod thread is the all time winner because I've seen complete n00bs with nick's such as "pepsiipod" etc, join the forum because of the thread and are now full members or senoir members because of their useless one word posts in that thread alone!

Think it was the $1000 GC contest. That's what brought me to these here parts, anyways. :)

ok those are good examples....

"1. Post the 10,000th Message and Win an Xbox!!
2. Pepsi.
3. FutureShop.ca Thank You! Contest - $1000 GC!"

How ever they all have to do with free stuff/contest which includes a lot of spam..... AFAIK the longest non-contest type threads are

Viewsonic $200 LCD
Mentos GC
