Hey folks,

I noticed that Best Buy and Sympatico have the same kind of deal as Futureshop does with Rogers, whereby you get a $150 Best Buy gift certificate if you sign up for a year.

Unfortunately I lost the flyer that I saw it in. Can anyone fill me in on the particulars so I can post this on the deals page?

Thanks in advance,

Ryan

yes, they also have this deal with Rogers also. I was at Best Buy last weekend (the new one in Markville Mall, where UltraMart used to be) and a sales rep told me that you only needed 6 months contract to get the $150 gift cert.

But afterwards when I went home and looked in the flyer closely, I notice it says 1 year contract. So now I'm wondering if the 6 month contract deal is in-store only.

Sypmatico sent me some mail stating that if I signed up for a year of service the monthly fee would only be $35, the default cost on the contract is $100. Yuck

A while back Sympatico had a deal where they gave new subscribers a $100 gift certificate at Bellworld if you signed up to a year's contract. Well, it took six months of phone calls and complaints to finally receive it.
