Jamal Magloire at Scarborough Town Centre today !!!

So today i was at STC walking around after work.. i see this huge 7 foot man walking out of Walmart.... i didn't think much until i looked twice...

IT was Jamal Magloire!!!! He was with his some gurl,... mom or sister (ugly).. and they bought sushi....

i was gonna ask him for his autograph but i was too scared and i didn't wanna piss him off.... damn ... should have gone up to him and looked stupid.

I remember all the talk when he first went to Kentucky. He was on the cover of all the basketball magazines. One headline I remember was "Northern Exposure". So yeah he was big while he went to Eastern Commerce but he was pretty crappy in college and he's not much better in the NBA. I don't see how people are saying to get him on the Raptors other than the face he's from Toronto.

He was a BS all-star. He was far over rated when he was younger and now he's nothing more than averaged center, not even sure what position he plays. I'll give him his props for making it this far and honestly he's made a bigger name for himself than I originally thought.

He is one of the top 10 centers in the league (I don't think you could name 8 better than him), and that makes him a very valuable player. He was VERY effective in his allstar appearance BTW, getting 19 points in 21 minutes. When he gets his next contract, it will be in the 10 million+ per year range judging by what Dampier got. He absolutely abused Chris Bosh last year when he was matched up against him in Raptor games.
Briktonio Davis, now there was a BS all-star. So was Vince Carter 2003.

jamal magloire is an average center to slightly above average at best. I like the guy but he isnt as good as most canadian bball fans will think he is.

I'd definitely take Magloire, he is a strong rebounder and has an offensive game, something the Raptors kinda need.

Bosh weighed what? 210-215 last year? Magloire has a 50 pound advantage on him! That's why he abused Bosh when they played last year. Bosh is supposed to be a 4, not a 5. I just hope that Araujo pans out to be a decent center
