Default Amazon.ca and Chapters Coupons - for those looking for them

Individuals here are constantly looking for Amazon and Chapters coupons. Well, here are a few:

Amazon Coupons
1. Code:MAPSUMMERNEW (for NEW CUSTOMERS only)
Amount:10$ off 50$ (First posted by jocyyu?)
Expires: July 31st.

2. Katharyna has pointed out than on specially marked bottles of Crush and Canada Dry soda, you can get a $5 coupon for Amazon.ca. Thanks!

This has been mentioned by YLSF and others:
'For people that don't know, if you are an existing customer of you can refer a new customer (that hasn't used any Amazon website (i.e. .ca/ .com / .uk, etc) and both parties get a $10 off coupon!.'
Info here:
http://www.amazon.ca/exec/obidos/tg/...939214-4910462

Each coupon can only be used ONCE per account. THEY CANNOT BE STACKED.

Chapters Coupons
No current valid Chapters coupons.

Coupons can only be used once per account. No stacking.

NOTE: Chapters factors in the coupon code BEFORE it determines whether you are eligible for free shipping. Amazon factors in the coupon code AFTER it determines whether you are eligible for free shipping. Hence, it is possible to have an order at Amazon that is $35 plus tax, and ships for free.

This thread will be updated regularly as I become informed of new coupons. If you know of coupons not listed here, please post them.

RFD can be a killer source of information and with our pooled knowledge, everyone can benefit.

Please post and bump this thread if you have a few seconds free. It helps to keep it visible. There are more posts in this forum lately and this thread tends to get buried. Thanks!

Thanks Pauline! The idea here is to have a thread that is constantly visible so coupon seekers can find it.

whenever I'm looking for a coupon, I usually check the "coupon" section of this forum.

Which is logical. However, for whatever reason, the mods are not allowed post certain coupons on the Coupons page of RFD. These 2 Amazon.ca coupons are among those. (I have already asked the mods to post them on the Coupons Page, and they cannot. The reason why I do not know (although I have a hunch ), but you'll have to ask one of them.) Hence, I have created this 'unofficial' Amazon.ca coupon thread to keep these coupons visible for those who need them.

To others who have Chapters.ca or Amazon.ca coupons, please post them here, and I will add them to the top of this page.

Anybody know if its possible to use a coupon after you've ordered and paid for something?
I looked for coupons the other day and didn't find any, so I placed an order anyway. Now there's these!

No, it's not, unfortunately. You'll have to cancel the order and reorder the item to do this. And if the item has been shipped and billed, obviously you can't cancel the order.

I'm not sure if Amazon or Chapters will match prices, I've never tried it. They usually have prices that are fairly similar to each other on new releases, but I've noticed big discrepancies elsewhere.

All I can advise here is to ask customer service.

Interesting... I didn't know about this.

Pressure from advertisers, I'd imagine...

I received this in an e-mail newsletter from Travelocity:

Quote:

The moderators should pin this so that it doesn't need to be bumped all the time.

Rehan, thanks so much for that coupon code. I've added it to the top of this thread.
