ive never had problems with amazon over the 5 years ive been shopping with them

although cancelling and totally removing FFAC was not cool

anyways, think of them helping you out, Xbox360 is gonna be a failure

All hail PS3 and amazon!

Kinda leary after the whole pricing error thing... If they sell too many DVD's or CD's, they may just cancel and claim a pricing error again!

I find it funny how people refuse to shop somewhere when that company refuses to honour a pricing error, when they clearly state on their website that they have to the right to cancel any order.... almost as bad as people reselling things they got at a discount for a profit to other RFDrs...

I agree,
Everyone speculated there were pricing errors during those incredible prices for the DVD's at Amazon. Most people were expecting them to cancel the orders... and they did.

Retailers want to make money.. there has to be some special circumstances to be selling 3 DVD sets for 13 dollars if its not a mistake.

I have no problem buying from Amazon again.

I have to agree with fl4w and scrub.
If someone finds a pricing error and buys 1 then maybe they will get lucky with the retailer giving them that price but once you involve 100's of other people who order many multiples of the same error then the retailer will of course have to cancel the orders. Every E-tailer has this written in their online policy incase of pricing errors.....

NeutralRFDrs...
the thing is they never admitted those 360 accessories are pricing errors. They just claimed they wont have them anymore when you can still order them now for the newer higher price. To me that is a disgusting strategy. Wait for a month or two, never update your members on why they not getting shipments, and then give an email saying it has been cancelled. WOW!

Same here! Here's hoping they put up some good game deals. Another thing that might be good, is if books go on sale, then maybe game strategy guides will count in there? (i'm a huge nut with collecting those things)

I hope Chapters.ca offers a comparable sale. They're Canadian, their free shipping is faster by XpressPost and it's easy to return you order to any Chapters or Indigo store.

agree 100%. amazon is one *the* best places to shop online with top notch service. for some nothing less then getting an item for free will keep them appeased.

I didn't think you could return online purchases to a store?

Does Chapters/Indigo even sell software/games?

Hi there,

Chapters got a strange way of returns. They will only return you a gift card, not a refund, that's what happen when I wanted to return something. I guess it varies.

Personally, Amazon.ca is an ok store, books and pre-order games. However, after the release date, discount sucks compare to retail store. If you're update with an order (like cancelling when you been waiting for like weeks for it), let them know and ask them for a promotional coupon for conpensation.
