Default Alvito - the true RFDer

Despite the fact that it says I joined RFD in feb of 2006, I actually started my cheapskateness well before that.

One instance of my cheapness was when I was looking for a girlfriend's valentines gift. I was in grade 8 or 9, money was tight, i didn't have a job. I earned my money from cutting lawns and shoveling snow.

I went to Fairview Mall and I went to the Disney store, they wanted 50 bucks for a small bear. Forget that... I went to the Hallmark store, they had a HUGE brown bear for 15 bucks. So I buy that, and take it to school on V-day. I stuff it in my locker, and when it was lunch time I revealed it to her in the cafeteria. All her friends were talking about the bear, they thought it cost 70 dollars.

Moral of the story, let your inner RFDer come out on valentines day. =D

God you're cheap.
I bought my girlfriend the medium sized Eeyore from Disney, which is still pretty big, for her first birthday celebration we had together. She still has it! Cost me $60 or so.
