Alternative Rock?

been listening to some of Hinder, Nickelback, and a little of The Fray. then I tried searching for more bands like them although a bunch of emo bands like simple plan etc. came up and wondering if there is any websites that are dedicated to this genre of music or maybe recommend me some bands with good albums out.

Not even close to what the OP wanted. Tool is about as close as you get with that list. All great bands though

While trying to find artists similar to what I listen to I'll use amazon.com

Similar to the OP's list would be Seether, Shinedown, Default, Disturbed, Staind. Pretty much what qualifies as Rock or Hard Rock these days.

Bands that come to mind: The Brides of Destruction, Velvet Revolver,3 Doors Down, Theory of a Deadman, Buckcherry, Default, and Creed.
