It all started at work......

I was working at a movie theater and a new girl was hired in January. It was love at first sight, well for me at least. On Valentines day I got up the courage to talk to her and in the staff room presented her with a heart shaped box of chocolates with a note attached. She awkwardly accepted the gift but we didn't' talk for awhile after. A year went by and then we started to date, finally. Well, six years later we are still together and happier than ever. We can now look back and laugh at our first Valentines Day. She has since told me that my early expression of affection really "freaked" her out. She still has the original note I attached that day in her scrapbook. Now every Valentines day since then I give her a replica box of chocolates to remind us of were we started on that awkward Valentines Day in 2001.
