Default Acai Berry

What do you guys think of the Acai Berry? Would the berry and a colon cleanser be a good option for someone trying to lose weight? Due to the chaos of everyday life it seems that this would be a good alternative. I am looking for some facts and the opinions of people who have used these.

Diet pills don't work effectively.

A good option for someone trying to lose weight is to eat less, eat healthier and exercise more.

Acai is strictly BS and colon cleansers are very much the same.

+1 Your colon is VERY clean. Check out a video of a colonoscopy and you will see, crap is not sticking to the walls of your colon like Dr. Ho wants you to believe.

Berries (any type) are all good for you. Strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, etc.
I just buy these when they are on sale.
As for "colon cleanse", I think it's a scam. When I had my colonoscopy, the doctor just told me to buy this "fleet" stuff (I bought the generic brand - cheaper) and mix it with water.
That cleaned out my colon as clean as it can be.

ok guys....5 months ago I have personally tried and tested the hydroxycut, Acai Berries and the colon cleanse(Wild Rose D-Tox) in an effort to lose some weight and gain some muscle.

In a 3 week test, the hydroxycut made me jittery and long behold made no difference on the waist line- even with my regular workouts and cardio. Lost 50 bux and then noticed that the FDA banned the product the next month as it has links to liver failure..hmmm wonderful.....

In another 3 week test, the Acai Berries is another scam(IMO)...No jitters, and no effect in weight. Another 30 bux down the drain for placebos....

And finally the highly popular colon cleanse which kept my a$$ on the toilet every 3 hours for 2 weeks(literally pissing out of my a$$), and what did I get for it? 1.5 pounds lost at the end of the 2 week period, where I am still convinced that the only thing that was flushed down the toilet were my insides.... The formula that they give you to take also tastes like a$$...

Finally(every story has to have a happy ending) I was able to find something that I can now say is working for me and I think you all could agree once you see my recent pic after 2 and a half months of blood, sweat and tears. The only way to lose weight is to get in that gym, work your body effectively using a workout plan, eat 5 to 6 times a day(all healthy meals) and get 7 to 8 hours sleep. This takes a lot of persistence, patience, and discipline. I won't lie, it was not easy and each day was a challenge. I have less than 2 weeks left till I'm done and hoping to see my abs by that time. I created a blog from the time I started called "The Road to Riddick" (named from the movie "Chronicles of Riddick") and documented each and every day thus far with my challenges, stats and have placed pic results for each week. I am still in disbelief that I look the way I do now and surprisingly I'm now totally addicted to the gym.

Good luck to you all and please, pretty please do not take any diet pills...It's still considered a "drug" (even if it's herbal) and can do more harm than good(especially the fact that the "clinical trials" they claim are very misleading as it's not FDA approved). Bottom line is there are no shortcuts...You have to "work" to get what you want.

LOL

and littleriddick, I agree with you. No supplement is going to make you lose weight. It's all about a healthy diet and regular exercise. Eat big, lift big, sleep big.
