ISO - May be I am burning too many disks, I always think it only stands for International Standard Organization.

NT - Northern Telecom = No Text, make sense

BF - before married is Boy Friend, after married is Breast Feeding..... LOL

Most of them I already know or can tell from context. That TTC one threw me off and I've seen it many times on parenting forums.

Why don't people just type out the whole words so we don't need a translation cheat sheet? Is it so hard to type out a few extra letters?

When people use lots of abbreviations in a post I'm reading, I tend to gloss over it or skip reading it altogether. I realize it's stereotyping, but I tend to think of such posters as potentially uneducated or lazy, and therefore maybe not worth reading. Not directing that at anyone here, just in general.

Wow, I've been wondering for the longest time what DH stood for since I've seen it in many of your posts, 3weddings.

It's actually a little anticlimatic since I had guessed it correctly... only it still doesn't make sense to me that the term requires a 2 letter abbrev. when the letter H alone would suffice... but that's just IMO.
