I went to Loblaws a few days ago, and they gave me back $0.01 for each cloth bag I used. I hope more stores start taking green initiatives.

Any time you make a purcase at MEC and don't use a plastic bag from them they donate 5 cents to an enviromental cause.
And in the event you do need a bag you get a biodegradable one. Only problem I've found with these is that it's hard to reuse them too much. |

Fortino's gives you back 0.03 for each PC bag I believe.
