Dell: Logitech Alto Cordless Laptop Stand + Wireless Keyboard still $39.99

November 20 Update: The Logitech sale has ended, but the Alto Cordless Laptop Stand and Wireless Keyboard is still selling for $39.99. There's no word how long it'll last though.
Originally Posted November 18: As part of a sale on Logitech products this week, Dell.ca has the Logitech Alto Cordless Laptop Stand and Wireless Keyboard $39.99 with free shipping! The Alto stand props up your laptop for more comfortable viewing and of course, provides you with a full size keyboard for more convenient typing. It also has a USB hub built in. Conveniently, the Alto Stand and Keyboard folds up neatly (much like a laptop would) when you're done with it or need to take it with you. A hands-on review at tech.yahoo.com has this to say: "it's making a huge difference on my ergonomics when I use my laptop at my desk... It's quite surprising, and I will definitely be using the Alto on a daily basis."

At its usual price of $60-$100+, The Logitech Alto Cordless Stand and Wireless Keyboard might be a little too pricey for some, but at $39.99, it sounds like very reasonable way to boost comfort and productivity when using a laptop.

LibriVox: Free Audiobooks of Public Domain Works (Shakespeare, Descartes, Marx, Joyce & Tons More)

Have you ever thought how much better your life would be if you had someone to read Shakespeare, Joyce, and Coleridge to you on demand? Well, even if your answer to that is "no", you should still check out LibriVox.org, which is a library of free audiobooks of public domain works. Materials are all read and recorded by volunteers, so quality can vary. Still, you have to admire the effort, and free is free! The selection of audiobooks is quite large (2400+ readings) and you can find a good amount of English literature, poetry, philosophy and politics. We've given a few titles a test-listen and there's not much to complain about given the price.

Audiobooks are offered in MP3 and OGG formats. This looks like a neat resource for students, scholars, fans, or anyone who would like to get a little more well-acquainted with some classics. Give it a shot!
