Cypress Mountain: SkiCard - 20% Off 2009/2010 Lift Tickets & Your First Lift Ticket is Free (BC)
Do you have your Cypress Mountain SkiCard yet? The 2009-10 ski season is fast approaching and a Cypress Mountain SkiCard will get you your first lift tickets free, and your subsequent lift tickets at 20% off.
SkiCards are valid for the downhill area at BC's Cypress Mountain only, and you will be required to present photo ID along with your SkiCard at the Alpine Ticket office each time you use it.

Calling all Canucks fans -- The BoatHouse Restaurant bar wants you to join their Penalty Box Club. Club members receive a free $20 bar tab after they watch five Canucks games (and spend $25+ per visit) at The BoatHouse bar.

3 Free GoodLife Fitness Visits, 1 Free Tan
Get 3 free visits and 1 free tan session at any of the participating GoodLife Fitness clubs when you request, print out, and bring in their online coupons. The free tan coupon can be printed from this page and doesn't require filling out any information. The pass for 3 free visits is a bit more complicated, you have to fill out this form and you'll receive the coupon by e-mail. They'll also be sending that info to the club that you've selected so keep that in mind.
You'll need to use the 3 visits within 7 days of your first visit. The pass for those visits includes access to all of their cardio and strength-training equipment as well as the Group EXercise classes. They're throwing in a copy of the Living the Good Life audio CD too if you're interested.

Free Skating Every Saturday (2:15-4:15 PM) at the Toronto Maple Leafs Practice Facility (GTA)
The MasterCard Centre for Hockey Excellence in Etobicoke, ON opens today!
The Centre for Hockey Excellence is the permanent training facility for the Toronto Maple Leaves and Toronto Marlies and they're also offering a Public Free-Skate Every Saturday from 2:15-4:15 PM, September to June. For the first Free-Skate on Saturday, September 12 they will also have "favourite Leafs from past and present" and an additional Free-Skate from 5:45-8:45 PM.
They will also offer Extended Public Free-Skates from 1 PM to 5 PM during public school development days, but you'll have to consult your school board schedule for details on those days.
The MasterCard Centre for Hockey Excellence is located at 400 Kipling Avenue in Etobicoke.

Here's a good deal for sports fans -- subscribe to 28 weekly issues of Sports Illustrated for $49 US and you will also receive Madden NFL 10 from EA Sports at no additional cost! You can pick any version of the game -- Xbox 360, Wii, PS3, PS2, or PSP. All told, the subscription itself is cheaper than the newsstand price, and Madden NFL 10 thrown in for free is a very nice bonus. Right now, pre-order prices for the game run from $49.99 to $69.99 (depending on the version).
Think of it this way -- if you're a Sports Illustrated fan, you get a subscription at below newsstand price and a bonus game. If you're a Madden NFL fan, you get the latest version for $49 US and a bonus subscription to Sports Illustrated.
Make sure you read the fine print. There is a stipulation that you are authorizing Sports Illustrated to auto-renew your subscription. You can cancel this, but you will need to be proactive and contact customer service to do so. Beyond that, this is a great deal.
