If you don’t usually need a fax machine but occasionally need to send a brief document, FaxZero.com has free faxing available! Simply fill out the relevant contact information, select a source file in .doc or .pdf format (or type a quick message) and it’s ready to send. No registration is required; you will need to use a valid e-mail address as the sender, each fax must be confirmed from your e-mail in a followup message before the fax is transmitted.

Note that there’s an ad on the cover page, and you’re limited to 2 faxes a day at up to 3 pages apiece.
