Warren Coughlin's BiographyWarren is a business coach with ActionCoach, who is committed to helping entrepreneurs and executives grow themselves and their businesses so they can live the lives they seek. He has been recognized as the Canadian Coach of the Year Award (2005), The Top Performing Coach Award (2006) and as one of the top 10 coaches among the 1000+ coaches around the world in ActionCoach.In addition to coaching individual entrepreneurs, Warren also leads a number of group programs and presents frequently to various organizations. He has presented on Team Building and Leadership to executives and teams at companies as diverse as Rogers, TransGlobe Property Management, Manulife, and Wynford. He has also been asked to present to a wider range of industry associations including the Interactive Multimedia Arts and Technology Association, The Canadian Pastry Chef Guild, the Canadian Association of Photographers and Illustrators, the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors, the Professional Organizers of Canada, the Canadian Disc Jockey Association, the Canadian Italian Business Professionals Association, the Ontario Bar Association, Green Enterprise Toronto and MultiMediator. Warren is also what he affectionately refers to as a “recovering lawyer”, having toiled in the concrete jungle of Bay Street in the areas of intellectual property, civil litigation, administrative litigation and family law. After leaving law, Warren co-founded a leading interactive strategy & marketing consulting firm that provided research, strategy and marketing consulting services to clients such as the Royal Bank, Harlequin Enterprises and CBC, to name just a few. In his capacity as the head of new venture development, he also created a recruiting company, an online training initiative in partnership with two leading industry associations and co-developed a national awards program for the Canadian New Media Industry. Warren has served as a professor of Marketing Law, Sales, Research and Career Development at Seneca College. He is also a member of Creativity and Innovation Day, part of an international celebration of excellence in creativity and innovation. He has served on the Board of Directors of Neighbourhood Information Post, (a resource centre for homeless persons in the Cabbagetown area of Toronto), of the Fringe of Toronto Theatre Festival and the Canadian Association of Fringe Festivals. And, just to make sure both parts of the brain are fully engaged, Warren is also an actor and an award winning theatre director, which have allowed him to become an accomplished and experienced presenter.
