In terms of components, it looks nearly identical to the Vostro 430 (although Vostro 430 in question has Windows 7 Professional while this XPS 8000 has Home Premium). Where the Studio XPS 8000 differs much more us case design. The Studio XPS 8000 has little more more style with a black face and white sides and top. It also has a built in card reader and some neat additions on top of the case -- a power button and USB/audio ports in a tray.
