The horrors of Purolator shipping!!

Comment:Ordered laptop on Dec. 27...received confirmation that the order was approved 2 days later indicating I would receive a shipping confirmation when the product was shipped...never received this email ever.
I continuously checked the order status online, and called HP once... was told the laptop would be shipped shortly. On Jan. 7th, the online confirmation finally indicated the product had been shipped (didn't receive an email) with a tracking number, which wouldn't work on Purolator's website. On Jan 8th, the tracking number worked on Purolator's website, indicating an appointment was required for delivery. I called Purolator, and they said that they attempted to delivery the product on Jan 7th, but nobody was home (a lie, my mom was home all day - no deliveries). So, I agreed to pick up the parcel at the Purolator depot out in the middle of nowhere Ottawa...they said I would be called when the parcel was at the Ottawa depot..... no phone calls. I call Purolator, they say it's at the depot. I go to pick it up, and there's a lineup out the door of people in the same siutation I'm in!! An hour of waiting later...and I finally received my package, and began the long drive home.
A lot of the fault lies with Purolator, but HP's support was pretty bad too... as was their courier choice. I WILL NEVER USE HPSHOPPING.CA AGAIN.
That said...the HP laptop DV2620ca has been pretty good so far, and the price was quite good as well.
