1. Introduction

Real Simple Syndication (RSS) is a standard that lets websites like RFD publish a simple listing of headlines and story summaries that can be viewed by readers with small programs and plugins known as RSS readers. RedFlagDeals.com uses RSS to send out information about the latest deals and you can access this information a number of different ways. Webmasters and bloggers can even add RFD deal headlines to their webpages!

2. In FireFox:

FireFox is an alternative web browser that contains a built-in RSS reader. You can download it here.

Adding an the RFD RSS Feed to FireFox*:

Go to any RFD page.
In your browser window, click on the RSS icon (insert image) on the right of the address bar to add a Live Bookmark.
You'll now be able to see the latest headlines from RedFlagDeals.com under the Bookmarks --> Live Toolbar Folder or by clicking on RedFlagDeals.com on the Bookmarks Toolbar

4. PageFlakes:

PageFlakes.com is one of the leading customizable startpages allowing you to customize your Internet experience with Flakes that contain content from websites across the Internet. 5. Yahoo! Widget Engine:

A couple of RFD readers have created cool RFD widgets for the Yahoo! Widget Engine (formerly Konfabulator). Widgets let you add cool mini-programs to your desktop, such as clocks, weather reports, sports scores, news feeds and more.

6. Google Toolbar Button:

Google Toolbar users with Internet Explorer can add the RFD Google Toolbar Button by clicking here. This button will allow you to search the RedFlagDeals.com Deals section and view headlines from the Latest Deals section within the Google Toolbar.

7. Google Desktop Panel:

RFD reader, Chris Chan, has also created a "Panel" for Google Desktop. Google Desktop allows you to extend your desktop with extra search functions, news feeds, auction trackers and more. The RFD Panel will show you the latest deals from RedFlagDeals.com so you can be the first to know about the latest deals.

8. Live.com Gadget:

Not to be left out, we've just created a Live.com Gadget for use on Microsoft's Windows Live homepage. In order to use the Live.com Ajax Homepage you'll need to identify yourself as being in the US and selecting the 'English (United States)' in your language options.
