Let's start with the Hanns-G 21.6" LCD. Hanns-G might not be a monitor manufacturer name you've heard of much, but the monitor in question has some sparkling users reviews. At NewEgg.com, it has an average score of 5/5 based on 108 user reviews and 5 Reviews at Amazon.com yield an average score of 4.5/5.
Elsewhere, the AMD X2 5000+ Black Edition barebone kit looks like good value as well. Add a heatsink/fan (Black Edition CPUs do not include heatsink/fans), an optical drive, and an operating system and you have the makings of a very solid budget computer.
Rounding out this batch of deals is a pair of unlocked GSM cellular phones. Both are light on frills, but if all you need is a phone to make phone calls and not one to surf the internet or walk your dog, these are good deals. They might also be well suited for the less gadget-inclined or just as backup phones.

Here are some nteresting savings to be had from TigerDirect.ca:
At $59.95, The Harmony 550 is priced well. The previous low we've seen for this product was about $62!
The other 2 items should be of interest to those of you looking for cost efficient computer upgrades or those that are building affordable systems from scratch. The X2 5000+ processor has lots of bang for the buck and comes ready for overclocking (only "Black Editions" have factory unlocked multipliers). The barebone kit gives you a great running start with the X2 5000+ processsor, 4GB of RAM, a motherboard, and a case with power supply. The processor and RAM bundle for $80 after $20 rebate is a nice value too. Consider that the Black edition alone sells for at least $79.99 elsewhere and that this RAM usually sells for at least $30 (often after a rebate).

TigerDirect.ca has a pair of deals that you might find interesting, a refurbished Vizio VO47L 42" 1080p LCD HDTV for $999.99 and an AMD Athlon 64 X2 5000+ Black Edition CPU and 2GB OCZ Platinum PC2-6400 Memory Bundle for $79.99 after $30 mail in rebate.
The Vizio VO47L is a LCD HDTV released quite recently (at the start of 2008). It has lots of perks, including 4 HDMI ports, 2000:1 contrast ratio with DCR, and included HDMI cable, direct input buttons on the remote, and more. You can check out a very large (27 pages) thread about the TV at AVSForum.com. Impressions seem very largely positive. Even if it is a refurbished unit, at just $999.99 for 47 inches this is definitely worth investigating.
Elsewhere, TigerDirect.ca is offering an AMD Athlon 64 X2 5000+ Black Edition CPU and 2GB of OCZ Platinum Revision 2 PC2-6400 RAM for $79.99 after a $30 mail in rebate. Consider that the Black edition alone sells for at least $79.99 elsewhere (check PriceCanada.com and that this RAM usually sells for at least $30 (often after a rebate). As long as you get the rebate, this is a worthwhile offer.

Here are the daily deals for Thursday, July 10. The computers and electronics items are pretty interesting today.
