PartSource: $10 Off Purchases of $40 or More Coupon
With winter on its way, it's a good time to make sure your car or cars are in good shape. That being the case, you can make use of this timely $10 off purchases of $40 or more coupon from PartSource. This coupon looks to be good until November 30 and you will need to print it out and present it at the time of purchase. There is a limit of one coupon per transaction and it cannot be combined with other offers.
For the unfamiliar, PartSource is an automotive parts specialty store. They don't offer automotive service, but for the do-it-your self people out there, it's a good place to shop. They also offer quite a few free services like free testing of your alternator, starter, ignition module or battery if you bring it in store. Here's a fine deal on a high end Garmin GPS from GPSCity.ca: the Garmin Nuvi 770 GPS Navigator for $389.95! Previously, we've seen this unit for $439.99 from Costco, but $389.95 is far and away the lowest price we've seen for this GPS unit so far. By the looks of it, shipping prices are reasonable as well -- $12.76 for ground shipping. This is a limited quantity promotion, so get it while you can.
If you're unfamiliar with the product, the Nuvi 770 is among Garmin's top of the line products (only recently replaced as the top of the line product by the 800 series) and is packed with features including a super-bright 4.3" LCD touchscreen display, text-to-speech, Bluetooth, FM transmitter, traffic, track log recording, multi-destination routing, a one-touch "Where Am I?" feature, MP3 and audiobook playback and more. In a October 2007 review of the Nuvi 760 (which is functionally the same as the 770 unit minus the European maps) GPSmagazine.com gives it a score of 4.7/5 and calls it "an outstanding navigator" and "the best GPS on the market today".

CAA Ontario Members: 20% More Petro Points
Ontario CAA members can get 20% more Petro Points for just for registering your CAA membership online. There is some information on getting 1,000 bonus Petro Points when you register but that promotion seems to have ended on August 26th according to the fine print. 20% more Petro Points just for registering a card that many people have is still pretty good.
