Brief Overview

Without going into too much detail yet, by joining any one of these programs you can save 20% off gift cards for various retailers such as Petro Canada and Futureshop. What’s the catch you ask? There is a monthly membership fee of $12.95 - $17.95 or a yearly fee ($139.95 and up). However, you can cancel at anytime. Still Interested? Read on for further details.

How it Works

For all three programs, you purchase the retailer’s gift cards through the program NOT the retailer themselves. This is a very important point because you can’t go to the retailer and buy gift cards from them and get a 20% discount even if you show them your membership card. You must purchase the gift card from At Home, LifeStyle Rewards or Galleria and you are limited to the number of gift cards you can order for each retailer.

When you join one of the programs and you order the gift cards, you will be charged FULL PRICE upfront. There is no 20% discount yet. Not to worry though, at the beginning of each calendar month you will receive a refund directly to your credit card which equals 20% of the total gift card purchase you made in the previous month. So if you bought $500 worth of gift cards, so long as your credit card is charged the $500 before the end of the calendar month, you will see $100 refunded to your card at the beginning of the next calendar month. If you order late in the calendar month and your card is not charged until the following calendar month you will have to wait until the beginning of the next calendar month before you get your refund.
