Free 411 with Goog-411 Now w/Canadian Listings
Just last week Google launched their free 411 service Goog-411 in Canada with full Canadian listings. How does it work? You simply call 1-800-GOOG-411 from any phone, tell them the location and type of business you're looking for and using voice recognition they'll respond with a number of listings. You can then choose to be connected directly with that business for free, even if it would regularly be a long distance call. It's perfect for when you're travelling, looking for the phone number of a restaurant you're headed to, or if you just want to play with another one of Google's free services Have fun!

Canon Creative Park: Free Printable Paper Craft Projects
Canon, the maker of familiar products such as the Canon Pixma printer line, actually has a site called the Creative Park that is devoted entirely to paper craft. There, you'll find a wealth of free instructions and printable templates for everything from cards (from directly printable to self-made pop-up varieties), paper crafts, scrapbook designs, paper art, to calendars. There is a lot of very interesting stuff around the site, so have a look around... did we mention that it was free? There are some Halloween projects to be found as well.
Some of the projects definitely look more complex than others (and some are probably more ink intensive!), but trying some of them out should be fun!

DealExtreme: 4-in-1 Pen/Las. Pointer/Stylus/LED Flashlight $3.79, MSI Bluetooth Adapter $9.35 & More
DealExtreme.com is a Hong Kong based seller of electronics, gadgets, toys, and other odds and ends with a very good reputation in the RedFlagDeals.com forums. All of their prices are in US dollars just about everything has free worldwide shipping included in the price. Another great feature is that just about every product has user reviews. The only catch is that since items are shipped coming from Hong Kong, delivery can take from 2 to 4 weeks. You can upgrade your shipping method if you'd like to receive orders faster, of course.
With that in mind, here are some deals on some useful items (all prices in U.S dollars):
There's everything from a very inexpensive (not to mention tiny) Bluetooth Vista Compatible adapter to a 4-in-1 pen, to a fire starter for camping and survival situations, and if these don't interest you, there are tons of other items at DealExtreme.com that probably will. Have a look around -- remember, shipping is free!
