There's another impressive home theatre deal at Newegg.ca right now. They have the Pioneer Elite HTSLX70 Premium Flat Panel Home Theater System on sale for $449.99 with free shipping. This model was released in mid-2008, and would have cost you $1800 to $2000 not too long ago. We're talking about a huge discount here. Our understanding is that quantities are pretty limited, so you'll want to act quickly on this one.

The review goes on to say that "The Pioneer Elite HTS-LX70 is a good effort in design and performance, but is expensive. It provides a very good surround sound experience". The "expensive" caveat doesn't really apply here per se since the unit was reviewed at the original $1800 US price point.
Note that "handling" is where Newegg.ca lists Canadian taxes. A $1 US fee that covers brokerage is added to orders, but that's the only additional charge.
