Visions.ca Deal Details

Still a good deal for those in Ontario.  The PST savings is more than the cost for shipping, so it still works out a couple hundred bucks less than the FS price.

It’s still easier to go to FS and get them to PM with the 10% price difference guarantee!  I always prefer to purchase locally whenever possible.

did anyone price match this successfully at a Futureshop in Ontario?

You’re not going to save the shipping by pm’ing it locally, even if you’re successful with the pm (it should be possible).  They’ll just tack the shipping cost on top of the Visions price, then take 10% of the difference between that total and their price after matching it.  Since you save 8% of the total (not the difference) on the taxes with Visions being based outside Ontario.

That said, I don’t work for Visions and haven’t shopped there so I don’t endorse them personally - but they can’t be any worse than FS, imho.
