Until Jan 8 @ Air Canada: Round Trip Fare to Hong Kong for as little as ~$900 Including Taxes
If you head over to Air Canada right now, you'll find some impressive pricing for flights to Hong Kong.
It looks like you should be able to travel to and from Hong Kong for under $1000. For instance, we found round trip airfare from Toronto to Hong Kong for $901.74 with a departure date of April 1 and a return date of April 8. Elsewhere, we found round trip fare from Vancouver to Hong Kong for $896.49 for an April 23 departure and May 5 return.
As always, selection and pricing will vary by date. Fare is usually cheaper mid-week and more expensive on weekends. You might need to do some digging to find the absolute lowest prices, but there are some great deals to be had. Thanks to forum poster speedyturtle for the heads up!

If planning a trip to HK I would reccommend considering the escape pass through aircanada.

You can fly to HK for 745$ from the west PLUS get two rtn flights within western Canada. There are other combinations from other provinces, as well there are restrictions on travel dates. But it is worth checking out.
