Where do you get the gift cards? Do you need to go down to the box office?
I'm in Toronto from May onwards, and would like to catch a few games.
Yes, no, maybe so?
I am definitely getting in on this deal. Even if you go to half the games, it's worth it.
Sorry for thread jack..
Jays have some good hitters at the dugout this year. Hopefully, they can accomplish something.
JP: please dun trade Rios
500 Level Season Tickets sell for $595 on the blue jays website. There will be suckers sitting next to you in the 500 level who paid $600 for what you can get for $100. This is basically the same as season tickets, except for big games (Yankees-Red Sox) that might get sold out you should probably head down to the dome early in the day to get your tickets.
I believe they limit the number of passes that they sell to about 1500. So get 'em while you can.
Go Jays Go!
what is the number to call instead of ordering online?
thanks!
Do they have somebody manning each level's ramp (100, 200 etc.) entrance throughout the game?
*I really don't feel this is cheating as long as you handle situations with class, and when there are thousands of empty seats in the lower sections, heck it's probably good for the team from a marketing/atmosphere standpoint
For opening day, last year they had a couple days where we could pickup the tickets (they are usually sold out the day of the game).
If it's not too busy (read: when they're not playing the Red Sox or Yankees) I've been able to move down, I just tell the guy at the bottom of the ramp that my friend bought us the tickets but got some through his work to sit down here, and I want to bring him his money to pay for the ones he bought. Quite often the seats I get are right behind the plate in the first few rows, so i don't bother.
45 minutes does guarantee you a seat. They are transferable. You cannot move to other sections. They segregate the 500 fans pretty well at the rogers centre (separate entrance and everything).
Overall, I wasn't too happy with it. Unless you live right next door, it's tough to make it out too often. i went to 7 games, paid $84, that's $12 a game. It would have cost me $11 to buy at box office...although a few of those were on twonie tuesday nights, where it would have only cost me $2.
You've got to really like going in order for this to be a good deal...and going to the dome and selling a random $5 500 level ticket on game day is not going to happen. "Tickets, I've got tickets! One seat in section 518, row 28! Get it while it's hot!" ...somthing tells me people wouldn't be rushing towards you.
