TigerDirect.ca Deal Details

I ordered one of those TomTom one a few days ago. It came with only US maps. Hopefully this was a fluke.

Anyway, if this happens to you, don’t bother contacting TomTom about it.

I told them my device only had USA maps and gave them the serial number of the device. They asked me to fax my receipt, then they asked me to send them all the info dump from the TomTom software.

After 3 days of back and forth emails they told me :

“We verified your serial number and can confirm your device only has USA maps. We apologize, have a good day.”

Thanks for jerking me around for 3 days and “solving” my issue by stating it back to me, TomTom!

(I needed to vent. I’m sending the unit back to TigerDirect.)
