Just checked the Future Shop website and they’re currently selling the shuffles for $49.99 as well.

You can also order directly from the apple website for $49. The advantage of ordering from Apple is that they offer FREE engraving. Plus they also offer the RED shuffle - exclusively at Apple.

$49 is the new price now because they are coming out with a new 2GB version later this year.
