Looking for something to do with the kids now that they're on summer vacation, why not take them golfing? The National Golf Course Owners Association Canada is hosting Take a Kid to the Course Week from July 4-10, allowing children under 16 to golf for free when accompanied by a paying adult.
More than 615 golf courses across Canada are taking part this year, so you should be able to enjoy this offer at a location near you. A minimum of one round of free golf per eligible child (under 16, with a paying adult) will be available at all participating courses, but individual courses may impose some restrictions so organizers recommend calling ahead for details and to book your tee time.
You can also enjoy additional activities like junior clinics, free range balls, free junior club rentals and parent/child tournaments at many of the courses. And don't forget, if golfing isn't your child's sport, you also have the option of free bowling this summer!
