Six and a half years and 100,000 members later!
I launched RedFlagDeals.com way back during the holiday shopping season of 2000. When the site first launched, during the first few months, we only had about 50 people per day visiting and I wondered whether it was even worth continuing on. Back then I could never have imagined that one day we’d have more than 100,000 members interested enough in what we’re doing to sign up and share. Now the numbers speak for themselves: over 100,000 members, over 750,000 monthly unique visitors, and over 18 million pageviews a month!
Almost everything on RedFlagDeals.com is free to use and accessible without registering, so to me it’s an amazing achievement that so many of you have taken that next step and signed up to be involved. There’s no way we would be able to stay on top of all the deals and have cross-Canada coverage without your member contributions – and to that I thank you!
Thanks to everyone who has ever mentioned RedFlagDeals.com to any of their friends, family, or co-workers. The site’s popularity has always been driven by word of mouth and without everyone out there talking about the site, there’s no way we could have reached this milestone.
There’s no question that this is Canada’s Bargain Hunting Community and I couldn’t be prouder of the site and everyone who is part of it. This is an incredible group of people who all share a passion for shopping, sharing, and saving money and I’m just glad to help facilitate it. If you’re not a member yet, now is a great time to sign up as the deals heat up for the summer. I’m looking forward to adding even more tools, content, and features (hint: check back later this week…) to help you save money in the future and I can’t wait till we hit 1 million!

Crazy that it’s been six and a half years already. I was a visitor to this site from the very beginning. I originally found out about this site when there were posts on the Anandtech forums. So, so long ago.

I found RFD wayyyyy back through a Google search. RFD has saved me a lot of money and found me some great deals (think mentos coupons for a 4G iPod and 50 boxes of Shreddies movie tickets later)!
Even though I’ve been away in South Korea for a year, I still visit RFD here and there--call it RFD withdrawal. Keep up the good work guys!!

I love to visit RFD. I make it as my habit on a daily basis and look for any new coming good stuff in cheaper price. Please keep it up and post more good stuff. I like this site so much and words can’t express it
