Royal Ontario Museum: Half-Price Friday Nights; Free Admission Wednesdays at 4:30 (GTA)
September 20 Update: It's a Friday afternoon. So if you're looking for something to do this evening, tickets to the ROM are half price from 4:30 PM to 9:30 PM!
There are two great ways to see the Royal Ontario Museum in Toronto for cheap (or free!) each week:
- On Wednesdays, general admission to the museum is free from 4:30 until the museum closes at 5:30.
- On Fridays, admission is half-price from 4:30 until the museum closes at 9:30.
Tickets for adults are $20 and for students, $17, so the savings available on Wednesday and Friday afternoons are pretty significant.
The Royal Ontario Museum is at 100 Queen's Park in Toronto.

That sucks. It used to be free Friday nights after 4:30. You just paid to see the special exhibits. When did that change? I guess it must have been when they finished the fugly crystal expansion.

The free pass at the library is almost impossible to get. You need to be there first thing in the morning on Mondays.

ROM CAN also provides all full-time students attending a post-secondary institution in Canada free admission to the Museum on Tuesdays. Please bring your current student card and picture ID. Only one ticket per student. Full-time students only. 
Good deal for uni/college students free on Tuesday!
