Why do I have to be there to win? Why can’t I buy a ticket and win whether I’m there or not? You’d profit from that even more than my actually being there, since you could forgo the goody bag and food I would have eaten.

Maybe next year you should have the BBQ in a different city.

@MikeyMadness: Maybe you should create your own RFD BBQ if you think you can come up with a better BBQ event/location/prize draw.

The RFD team is nice enough to help organize this get together and all you can cry about is winning a prize? Tickets are $7.50 which includes LUNCH and a goodie bag--that’s a deal.

Yes, you have that RFD “freebie” attitude but come on man...I’m in Vancouver and I won’t be able to attend but you don’t see me complaining! Lighten up dude…

Gdog -

I’m saying I’d like to buy some tickets even though I’m not going to be there. One, because I like this place and I’d be throwing some money their way, and two, on the off chance I might win a prize.

So if I bought a ticket for $7.50, they’d make a little buy not having to feed me or give me a goodie bag since I won’t be there. But If I have to be there to win, it would be the same as donating the money to them, which I don’t need a celebration (in this case a BBQ) to do.

I’m not whining, I’m saying maybe they should remove the “must be there to win” restriction and maybe they’ll sell more tickets. Or have a different set of tickets for those outside the GTA on the date of this event.

Next time why don’t you count to 10 before you have another mini tantrum. I at least hope it made you feel better.

Mikey: The tantrum felt great, thanks. smile

Actually I’m not one to troll or anything, but the tone of your message made it sound like you just wanted the prize.

I understand you want to support RFD and all just like the rest of us, but sometime rules are rules. I’m assuming the prize draw is to reward those people who actually showed up at the event.

Next time, I’ll count to 3 before exploding on someone. Is that better? j/k smile
