Rebtel Call for Help: Free Calls to China and Myanmar Until May 22
In a commendable move, Rebtel is offering free calls to China and Myanmar until May 22, 2008. This offer is a direct response to the recent natural disasters in those countries. As this is a philanthropic offer and there are certainly many out there who need help contacting affected friends or relatives, Rebtel currently has a Fair-use policy allowing 2 hours to China and limiting calls to Myanmar to 30 minutes (10 trial minutes for new users + 20 minutes for all users).
Calls to Myanmar are experiencing many problems, but that can only be expected given the circumstances. Thanks to to_munda for the heads up.
