These guys are ridiculous in their shipping costs. I ordered a Xbox360 from bestbuy, and they charged me $7 shipping. NewEgg is charing me $16 shipping for a pair of earbud headphones! That is ridiculous...without coupon, there is no point ever shopping at this store..

The reason their shipping is so high is because despite being newegg.ca, everything is shipped out of the states, and it uses a shipping method with UPS that doesn’t include UPSes standard high Canadian charges.
Not condoning it, because I absolutely agree with you, but that’s why.
But with the coupon code on a product that’s normally ~$80, it was a steal to have it delivered to my front door for $34.

I wish the burner would be cheaper… I mean, the shipping is more than half the cost… was hoping I could get one for $15 or so… didn’t expect it to be shot up that much… but if I can’t find it cheaper… I guess I have no choice.

Think of it as free shipping and tax and 1 or 2 dollars off. There’s a decent deal on bluetooth headphones:

On shipping charges:
Digi-Key Canada, an electronic parts supply shipping out of the US has a standard flat rate (with no extra cross border fees) $8.00 UPS shipping charge that usually lands my order of electronic parts on my desk with NEXT DAY service.
If Digi-Key can do this, I don’t know why NewEgg couldn’t as well. They probably have enough business to swing the deal. At least as much as Digi-Key.
