It will be 11 hours on any bus. That is a good deal, bolt bus is supposed to be good too. I cant afford the plane, so I might end up doing this. thanks.

I once spent 13 hours on a bus trip. Before I went, I figured “It’s a good price, 13 hours shouldn’t be too bad!”.

In hindsight, I’ll never spend 13 hours on a bus again.

I was one of the lucky ones who got this deal with my partner back in October. We purchased $1 each way, so total cost of transportation to NYC was $4.59 (.59 processing fee).

We took the night bus, because after a couple hours on the bus you fall off to sleep. The bus ride was shorter than 11 hours (almost 10 on the way down and 9 on the way home).  We were really amazed at the bus ride, it felt really quick. The seats are comfortable, the bus was far from packed so several people got 2 seats to one person. Added bonus was the bus had free wi-fi internet and outlets so you could plug in your laptop and watch a couple movies and relax.  So, after getting settled, a movie, we were fast asleep and in NYC before no time.

If you weigh both the economical and environmental factors of taking this bus, it’s far superior to any other method of long-distance transportation (flying/driving/etc). I’d highly recommend it to anyone else.

I went on the website and a one way bus ride to NY from Toronto is $72 for Dec 18th. Is there some sort of promotional code that you are supposed to enter?
