MegaBus.com: Almost-Free Travel Between Toronto and New York, January 14 - March 18
Here's a good deal for anyone who's got a trip from Toronto to New York planned: Megabus.com is offering some almost-free bus fares -- use coupon code greenbus and just pay the 50-cent booking fee! It probably goes without saying, but these tickets will sell out very, very quickly, so don't delay in booking. Also note that "preferred" travel dates such as weekends will in high demand, so you may have to do some digging to find almost-free fares. This offer is valid on travel between January 14 and March 18, 2009.
Once you get your free ticket to New York, tickets from New York to cities like Boston, Philadelphia, and Washington DC can be booked as well.

It doesn’t work. I tried it and it charged me $58 round trip from Toronto to New York in Feb. 13 - Feb. 16.
I did put in the greenbus code. Unless I’m doing something wrong.

@leannoon. The code has to be in CAPTIAL letters.
I got 6 tickets for $0.5. from Feb 16 departure from Toronto. and return on Feb 20th.

doesn’t work for any of the dates i search. it says no more promotional offers are available for my selected dates, and that i’d have to pay full price. sucks.

The code does not have to be in capital letters!! And not everydate is available, you have to try different dates but of course by now all the weekend dates are gone so try weekdays for departure and return and you might get lucky.
