Just got back from there with my coupon.  It works.  Got a (BPA free) waterbottle and a can of energy mints for just over a dollar.  Worth the trip if you’re nearby.

Beware - some stores are trying to make you buy $40 worth of stuff. Stick to your coupons!

great idea w/ water bottle… does anyone know if there’s a chance they’d let me “use” the coupon if i showed them the number?

TEN82

Went last night and got a water bottle and led flashlight.  Both were on clearance for $7.49 so it cost me about $5.00. Good for stocking stuffers.

Hey Pressed, they need to scan the barcode.  So find a printer somewhere and take the print out with you

Hey TEN82, can you forward me the pic of the led flashlight.  I was looking for one today but didn’t see the sale on any flashlights.  Please respond to .  Thanks

the emergency glass breaker/seatbelt cutter/flashlight is reg.priced @14.99, on sale for 11.23 so with tax i paid $1.40
great to keep in the car for emergency situations!

After the $10 discount, I got a pair of rubber boots for $4.99 plus taxes = $6.14 ... The greatest thing was that the $10 off was given before taxes were charged! On $10, the taxes would amount to an extra $1.30! So, saved that as well....

The image has been changed to include many more excluded items :/

Snoopy62

I see that many of the items purchased with the coupon were excluded (see fine print) but it looks like it didn’t matter????  Eg. flashlights and water bottles.  No problems?

What image iridium77?  I have been there and talked to them in detail about it.  Let us know what you’re talking about exactly.  Thx

My roommate bought socks on top of something for $9.99 and they accepted the coupon.  Guess they are not that strict about it or don’t know??  But yes, we have all read the coupns fine print.  It’s not that fine of a print.

We should have all read the fine print by now.  And BTW it’s not that fine of a print.  My roommate bought socks on top of the non-restricted items for $9.99.  And they still accepted the coupon.  guess they’re not that strict about it after all or they don’t know??

On the website http://www.marks.com the coupon “image” has been changed to exclude items that are priced at less than $10!

When this coupon was first posted, I printed it off and it only excluded “socks, gloves, underwear, headwear, or gift cards” as the original post states.

Now if you visit the same coupon link, the coupon image now excludes 4 lines’ worth of items.

(Incidentally, I redeemed for a stain remover pen and lint defuzzer, both of which still appear to qualify. It probably varies according to your cashier anyway.)

if any of you hv the old coupon, it would still work. did for me anyhow. i bought a leather protector yesterday. the cashier mumbled to herself ‘is this old or new’ ... saw that it was old ... and accepted it no questions asked. i got a pdf of the old one so i m good to go. hehehe.

Hey Joanie.....have some of the old ones printed off, but they might be fuzzy to photocopy.  Would love it if you could send a copy of the old one to need some more Burts Bees.........heh, heh......

Just a pointer...the .99 cent enviroment friendly bags are hidden behind the cashier....

so if you have something for $9.99....just go to the cashier and ask for one....

and remember its $10 off before taxes !

Anybody have a PDF of the earlier version of this coupon that they could post?  The one without all the restrictions?

Posted December 7, 2008 @ 12:45am

tinmack

Don’t bother, found one in the thread on the site.

Posted December 7, 2008 @ 4:06pm

motherof3

Tinmark....could you post the old pdf...or how did you find it on one of the threads?

Then just save the image of the old coupon and print in like a picture.

Will the $10 off work on Saturday along with the 20% off as well?  It says not to be combined with other offers - but the $10 off 50 says the same thing and they have honored it in the past!  Anyone know for sure.
