Lenovo.com Canada: Thinkpad X-Series Blowout, Save up to 39% On Select Models

Until October 13, those of you shopping for high quality notebooks can take advantage of some nice savings on Lenovo Thinkpad X-series laptops. Lenovo.com Canada is holding a Thinkpad X-series Blowout Sale. Use coupon code CAPXBLOWOUT at the checkout for any of the featured X-series Thinkpads (namely, the X61s, X61 Tablet, and X300) to take advantage of the sale prices.

You can for instance, purchase an X61 Tablet for $1202 that comes equipped with an Intel Core 2 Duo L7500 processor, Vista Home Premium, 1GB RAM, 80GB hard drive, and 4-cell battery. That's a pretty aggressive price for the X61 tablet, which only sees sizable discounts quite rarely. There are some interesting and reasonably priced upgrades as well, including an 8-cell battery for $37.50, Bluetooth for $21.75, and Vista Business for $22.50 (which also includes the rights to an XP downgrade). Shipping is free.

Buying through the FNDEPP site + CAEANNIVERSARY coupon is marginally cheaper and a lot cheaper if you load on the accessories.  Plus it applies to all laptops vs. only a handful for CAPXBLOWOUT

What’s this ‘FNDEPP’ site you’re referring to?

not really...the CAEANNIVERSARY coupon doesn’t offer much discount.

I just built the same X tablet on the friends EPP site and the blowout sale site, and using the friends EPP site saved me exactly $4.45.....

If the blowout sale didn’t exist, THEN i would definitely recommend the friend EPP method

Not to be a nag but I said “marginally cheaper”.  You saved an extra 4.45 over the CAPXBLOWOUT coupon.  Savings is Savings.  If you adding warrenty and accessories, you’d save a lot more because those things cost less via EPP.  Plus you’d get much cheaper prices on non-X series laptops like the T or SL laptops.

The FNDEPP site is the friends&family EPP login page.  There’s a thread in the forums.  If you search for “lenovo” in the forums, you’ll find it soon enough.
