    Home Depot: Holiday Light Exchange, Trade Your Incandescent Lights For 50% Off LED - Nov 7-8

    This weekend is the perfect time to update your old holiday lights to more energy-efficient LED options, during The Home Depot's Holiday Light Exchange. LED lights are 95% more energy-efficient than incandescent lights, and now you'll get them 50% cheaper!

    November 7 and 8 only, when you bring in your old string of incandescent lights The Home Depot will give you 50% off a new string of LED lights with in-store coupon. Each coupon can be used to exchange up to five strings of lights, and each customer can use up to five coupons -- that's as many as 25 strings of lights for 50% off!

    Note: Nova Scotia, PEI, and Saskatchewan consumers can save an additional $3 on LED light strings. For details, visit HomeDepot.ca (click on the Holiday Light Exchange advertisement and read the "Additional Offers" information).

    The Holiday Light Exchange is being offered between the hours of 10AM and 5PM on November 7-8 only, so don't miss out on this opportunity to save money and energy at the same time!

It would be worthwhile if you had more options other than the tacky-looking coloured lights.

Offer the deal for all white or all blue or all green…

Most people I know don’t like the coloured.

Why do they keep including dark blue in the LED light package?  LED lights are a lot dimmer than incandescent bulbs, and the blue just makes things even darker.

Tacky? I love the multi-coloured lights. Reminds me more of the 50’s and 60’s retro Christmas decor. I find the all white too cold and bland looking. Of course, I also have a flying Santa and a singing reindeer in my front yard… To each his/her own I guess.

You can get any colour that you like and most sizes and types. Not just multi-coloured! It’s just a picture to give an example.
