Green Deals from Canadian Tire: CFL Bulbs, $10 Crank Flashlights, 1/2 Price Thermostats
There are some excellent green buys at Canadian Tire this week:
- A 4-Pack of 15W CFL Bulbs (Product #99-3201-0) is $13.
- Save 25% on the 5.5W Eliminator Solar Panel (Product #11-1884-4) -- now $49.
- A Hand-Cranked Flashlight (Product #99-2049-6) is just $10. No batteries or bulbs to replace!
- Noma Programmable are Half-Price; starting at $30.
- Hero Reusable Cloths (Product #53-0109-8) are 40% off: just $2.49 for a 25-pack.
- Energy Star Torchiere Lamps are $60 and come with an in-store instant rebate, bringing the price down to $45. (There's no product number, but you can see these lamps are on page 14 of the flyer.)
The sales run Saturday, April 19 though Friday, April 25.

Wondered if anyone bought the 2 million candlepower spotlight at $12.99 (pg 35 this week flyer). I bought 2 thinking of sending one as gift until I found that after 20 hours of charging, the halogen light lasted only 10 minutes! The light is no brighter than the 1 million candlepower spotlight I have.
What a waste of time really on this I don’t know what to describe item.

Can someone confirm the in-store instant rebate on the Energy Star Torchiere Lamps?
I don’t see it anywhere in the flyer or website.
