Yet another DUMB move by the TTC!

The people who would most likely benefit from these discounts are tourists (who would not have Metropasses).

Those who have Metropasses are most likely residents of Toronto, and have already seen these attractions multiple times.

This “deal” doesn’t really benefit anyone. Why doesn’t the TTC work on reducing fares instead?

Before you voice your assumed comment, I know for a fact that those attractions are used quite a lot by residents of the GTA, especially those with children. Next time there’s a holiday Monday (Civic holiday), go by any of those attractions and see how packed they are - I guarantee the majority are local residents.

So, these are good deals for people who are probably already cash strapped and want to take more local vacations and attractions.

BTW, TTC fares aren’t too bad compared to the rest of the world. Travel a bit and you’ll know.

Another great thing about this deal is that each Metropass holder can get four discounted admissions. That makes it a really family-friendly deal.
