FutureShop.ca Introduces Free Shipping On Orders over $39
There's some good news this morning from FutureShop.ca! They've introduced free shipping on (most) purchases over $39. There are a couple of restrictions to be aware of: gift card purchases don't count toward the order total of $39 or more, and TVs of 40" or larger and large appliances don't qualify.
The restrictions are pretty reasonable, and for everything else, this makes shopping online at FutureShop.ca much more appealing. The free shipping should be great for items like video games and DVDs/Blu-rays!
A good place to start is this $10 off $50 coupon, which is good until July 5.

FS had free shipping for everything when they first started online orders then they took it away along with aeropoints. Re-introducing free shipping with a minimum purchase isn’t much of a deal. At the current stage, I guess it is still better than paying for shipping.

FS and BB have both free shipping, but unlike Amazon it is for limited time only.

I think the BB Free shipping is “for a limited time only”, but I can’t find anywhere on the FS site where they say Free Ship is limited time? Maybe BB is trying it out and FS has it forever? Like how FS eliminated MIRs and then BB did?
And yeah, nnn666, I remember those days - Ordering a $2.99 item and having it shipped! Awesome!

infact I haven’t bought anything from there for so long, I didn’t realize they didn’t have free ship anymore  been using the pick up in store option more I guess.

it was great when FS had free shipping...ever since they stopped it, I’ve been buying from Dell

Someone’s annoyed with Amazon I see.
For good reason too, I order stuff off Amazon all the time now. But I’ll definitely use that 10 off 50 deal. I used to destroy those $10 off codes with Amazon. It was so easy to make a new account(, since you used the same email, but a different password, lol). I got a lot of my PS3 games for 44.99+tax last year from Amazon (54.99 normally, thanks to the fact Amazon sells most games for 3-5 bucks less than most other retailers + the $10 codes, made for some awesome, cheap purchases)

Future Shop says, “We reserve the right to change or discontinue the FREE shipping promotion at any time.”

Of course they “Reserve the right to change or discontinue the FREE shipping promotion at any time” - point is that there’s no set deadline for it to expire, unlike at BB where they already note that Free Shipping ends in August.
