Um… The DataTraveler 4Gb is $9.99.

The laptop stand looks so useless… It just puts your laptop at an angle.  Can anyone explain what the advantage this gives?

The stand would allow you to lift the laptop off the desk so that the display is on level with a regular computer monitor.

I suppose it’s not just for angling the laptop..one can use this if their work desk is too low i suppose.

Another advantage is on better heat dispersion for the laptop bottom, which is usually very hot during usage.

a8leung - If you use an external keyboard with your laptop when at your desk, then it puts the screen at a better height. The angle also moves the keyboard part of the laptop out of the way. You basically emulate having a desktop PC.

For me, I use dual display at work, so I use a similar item to put my laptop screen next to my LCD and at the same height. I’m looking at this one as the one I have is too low and the laptop tends to slip down it during the day.

Wow, I was just lamenting this morning how I don’t have a big enough way to transfer this huge access database home so I don’t have to commute an hour to get to the office to work on it.

For those of you buying the usb drive, bestbuy has them for $40… you rfd’ers know what to do

Went to Bestbuy and they prcematched both these beals, the 4gb usb and the rocketfish stand.  It was great, I prefer Bestbuy for the points, so it worked out great.
