quick question.... even though I doubt you can....say you order something from the online sale...could you set it up to pick it up in your local store??? and like pick it up a few days later...I know on the flyer it says no in store pick up on boxing day because of traffic....but im wondering if they meant just for that day...or no in store pick up for the online sale period...? |

What’s with all the PC’s being refurbished and being sold as great deals for boxing day? |
| jonny_eh |
$20 off a laser printer?! OMG, I’m lining up 3 hours early in -20C weather for that! And here I thought sales were slow this year. I’m gonna skip Boxing Day and go straight for the clearance two weeks later. |

What a ridiculous flyer. What is with all the ‘Amazing Price’ and ‘Great Deals’ when it’s all refurb crap or 10-20% off. |
| TheDealerz |
Garbage! The weekly flyer has better deals. lol |

LG 42LG70 42” isn’t so bad, the flyer lists it at 1600, I remember looking at it over the summer at 1300, unless its a piece of crap :( |

terrible deals , thanks future crap !! |

Isn’t Boxing day sale supposed to be like once in a year kind of deal with crazy discounts. I got my Sony 46” Z series about a month back for 1799 ( 600 $ off + 100 more for stuff worth > 1000 bucks ) from Best Buy ... So looks like it was better than Boxing day |

futur shop and best buy have the worse deal this boxing day sale. so far wall mart has the best deals that i have seen. future shop weekly sale and after jan sale is way better. |

Don’t you think its not a bad price on the Kuro Its a gorgeous set! |

Agreed: Play their game at your own peril—FS and BB sure ain’t the Boxing Day (BD) kings they once were, as even just a few years ago. Notice the leadup to this ‘08 BD sale and how their prices have escalated? And now in their BD “sneak preview” flyer their prices are being brought back down to _more_ than they were with their sales flyers of 3 weeks back! As for the Kuro, yes it could be a good price (considering what they started out at) but just wait another few weeks, after the CES show and the latest economic reports, then see some serious price pressure downward on all consumer goods. |

The Harmony One is $199 on the website even though it says $189 on the flyer. What gives? Still a pretty good price given that it is around $270+ online. |

anybody else having trouble getting into the secure checkout? |
| hudef |
Wow, all bargains! I might as well stop shopping around and just buy a couple of everything here at giveaway prices! God! Thank you Future Shop for slashing your prices to below cost. I’m gonna go and tell all my friends about the outrageous prices. How can I ever thank you enough? Your brilliant promotions manager should be promoted to CEO of the company. I’m so excited! |

mofoman69us “anybody else having trouble getting into the secure checkout?” Doubt if anyone else tried to buy anything. Even Future Shop also didn’t expect anyone to fall for this, so they didn’t bother set up the checkout. |

only good deal i could find was the Shaw 160GB PVR for $397. anybody seen a better price than this? |
| brucered |
@ zoee. if you are a current customer, threaten to cancel, you can get it for 1/2 of shaw’s website price. if you are not a shaw customer, ask them what they can offer, you could probably get one for free if you really tried. |

Total BS boxing day sale.

Thought I’d pick up the Init tilt TV wall mount for $59.99, but no in-store pickup until Jan 7, sale dates of Dec 24-25 only, and $29.99 shipping charge = hanging onto my money this year. |
