Enterprise gets the same question as Voyager…

Why would anyone pay over $2.50/episode for a TV show in SD?! (Especially considering only about half the episodes are even watchable.)

It’s pretty common for series with “hour” long episodes to butt up against $2.50+ per ep if you insist on calculating value that way.  Production companies don’t appear to be in any rush to bring TV Series to HD formats either.

As for the why question, the simple answer is “different strokes for different folks”.  Not everyone is hung up on SD or HD.  For fans of these series, these prices represent fairly significant price drops.

For whatever reason Star Trek has always been an expensive series to own on DVD. Fans seem to willing to pay it.
