Free Small Coffee During Breakfast Hours from November 16-29 at McDonald’s
November 16 Update: Just a reminder, this freebie starts today, so go ahead and grab a cup of coffee on your way to work!
Originally Posted November 8: From November 16-29, you'll be able to start off your mornings with free coffee courtesy of McDonald's. During breakfast hours (5AM to 10:30AM, or 11AM on weekends), you can pick up a small coffee at no charge.
When this promotion ran in April, there was a limit of one per customer per visit, and it was not available with an extra value meal or value picks. Forum users and RedFlagDeals.com staff members have seen this promotion advertised on registers and drive-thru windows at their local McDonalds and we'd guess the McDonald's Canada Facebook page will be updated soon as well.

No thanks.
I dont want H1N1 laced coffe or any take out food from ANYWHERE for that matter…
Frozen foods will be the in thing this season!
ANytime you eat out you risk getting H1N1 from the nasty people from montreal that dont wash their hands.

@ iEye - You’re really annoying. Maybe you should go crawl into a hole or something. I’m sure you won’t get H1N1 there.

H1N1 is on the move
H1N1 is real smooth
H1N1 hides in your coffee
H1N1 hides in your toffee
H1N1 is in your snacks
H1N1 is in your slacks
That’s especially good news it’s true
Because H1N1 scares the pants off you.

Great Deal!!
Thanks OP!!

Keep negative comments to yourself please!
That being said, if you’re skeptical about contracting H1N1 from outside food, you should also never hold a handrail, use public transportation, shake someone’s hand or use a public bathroom. Probably shouldnt go outside at all.

Ok, the next time you go to Mc.D’s (or any other place) watch how they prepare your coffee.
1-The person in front of you coughs and covers their hand.
2-The person gives cash to pay for thier food.
3-the cashier proceeds to take the H1N1 tainted cash
4- Next you order a meal/coffee
5- the cashier gets your coffee / drink and touches the inside /rim of the cup cover and cup.
6- for cold drinks the H1N2 mixes into the liquid and you drink it.
6-b For coffee the rim is infected so even if you say that temperature above 70 /158 will kill the germs you have allready sipped it.
I bought 2 packs of 14ea Dixi cups withe the covers at Zellers for $2+ tax
SDM/PHarmaprix had coffee on sale for $2 and sugar for $0.99
So dont act like you are really saving anything by getting free coffee from Mc’D’s.
I cannot imagine the lines in the morning.
I am a rediculously clean person, I use hand sanitizer THEN wash my hands before I put on disposable plastic gloves on before I handle food.

Correction - iEye - You are a ridiculously bad speller. But besides that, you are annoying and will probably catch some sort of virus because your body has built up no immune system because you won’t let it.
You are annoying and should crawl back in to your hole (like I suggested above)

Nobody is disputing that you are a clean person. In fact, you’re right to be so conscious of hygiene in lieu of recent H1N1 scares.
All we ask is that this is a forum for deals, and you can’t possibly argue that a free coffe isn’t a deal. Therefore, please respond with comments that are directly related to the deal.
Thank you.

Living in a bubble, that would be sweet!
If I win the lottery I am going to buy an abandoned cave and make my house under there like the Batman!
and IF it comes down to the nitty gritty I will buy scooba gear and my own oxygen tank so that I do not have to breathe the same air when I go out in public!, heck If the army has surpluss Biohazard gear I’ll be first in line!

For some reason I think the “hottest women” part is a problem for you, but the rest sounds cool.
Oh, and yeah free is always a good deal. But you can make it at home for a few cents more and save the gas. Through in a free burger and it might be worth the trip. Course if you go anyway… sweet.

The only problem is I heard on the news today that all of the hottest women are currently carrying the h1n1, so they’re off limits too.
I’m just getting over h1n1 and it wasn’t as bad for me as media made it out to be. First two weeks was like having an irritating mild to moderate cold, Last 3-4 days were about sleeping and dealing with flu stuff. Then a couple of sluggish days to get back to normal.
I’m well just in time to enjoy this fab McD’s coffee special. Their coffee is suprisingly good too.

iEye.... your obsessive-compulsive disorder helps you stay clean, but what does that have to do with stupid comments like: “the nasty people from montreal”...
I think you’re the nasty one here, so please, go to that cave, conceal yourself on a bubble, build your own pool filled with sanitizer, but save us from your stupidity

Obviously everybody agrees that ieye is a loser but seriously, it would be so ironic if ieye caught the H1N1.

take a deep breath and relax, my grandsons had it and passed it to me. yes H1N1 is a nasty flu but flu germs enter your body thru your eyes nose and mouth and 100,000 people are hospitalized and about 36,000 people die from the flu and its complications every year. this is nothing new.....it isnt the black death or malaria which kills a million kids a year.

when I went to McDonalds for free coffee last April they wouldn’t deduct it if I bought the extra value meal. They suggested that I took juice instead of the coffee in the meal, which they would charge me extra for the juice and then get the free coffee. I didn’t want the juice.

if this is free without purchase, but not if I buy an evm or value pick that means:
-if i just walked in i’d get it for free
-if i walked in and bought an evm I could NOT get the free coffee.
that seems a little dumb to me....

.. don’t complaint when it’s free .. simply order your evm with an OJ to drink and get a free coffee on the side THe OJ should help boost your immune with all these H1N1 talks.

2 for 2...Yum yum. I actually prefer McD’s coffee now over Tim hortons b/c over the years i find Tims tastes more and more watered down. Probably just me, but taste buds don’t lie!
I love the empty drive thu lineups during these promo’s as i look over at the packed Tims drive thru’s. Haha

mcdonalds is scamming with this deal. i visited the mcdonalds in vaudreuil, qc just outside of montreal. they told me i needed to order something in order to get the free coffee. i ordered a hash brown thinking it would cost me 1$. the hash brown costed me 2.18$ after tax. i should have just got their usual daily muffin and coffee special for 1.39$ it would have been cheaper then the free coffee.
thanks again mcdonalds. i guess someone has to fund the mcopoly monopoly game.

@b_stern,
That’s BS. (Unless the rules are different in qc?)
The employee probably just pocketed the cash.
File a complaint.

That’s ridiculous. I just walked up, got my free coffee, and left in Toronto. Maybe the QB rules are different??

@paulo500 and Slanket.
Why am i not surprised. Quebec always has to be the distinct society. Maybe if i asked for “ un café gratuit” it would have been free.
I think i will complain to mcd head office.

|
-the rule about not being able to get it with value picks is false - i did it today
-(perhaps the rule is there so people don’t try to get a muffin/coffee combo and then ask if they can deduct the price of the coffee)

Can we ban iEye....every single post related to food I’ve seen he always metions H1N1.
iEye, If you are that worried about the flu just go kill youself. Everything you are eating is laced with the flu, the air you breath is laced with flu. just go #### off and stop spamming every fucking thread with your pitty comment.

one thing about McD coffee that Tim’s will always have them beat on is that you can always get a fresh cup from Tim’s. Try getting a fresh cup of coffee from McD at 7pm. I can guarantee that the teenagers working there will not have changed that pot since 5pm.
McD coffee tastes pretty good in the morning, after they have such demand that they have a pot constantly brewing, but what does it taste like stale?

The McDonald’s in Old Montreal did not want to give me the free coffee past 10:30am on Saturday even though they serve breakfast until 11:00am and they also have signs on the windows which says free coffee during breakfast hours.
I complained to the manager and she got annoyed with me, so she ended up just giving me one for free.
Power to the cheap people!

i can assure u the ones in montreal dont make u purchase smtg to get the free coffee, for sure the guy jipped u out of money bstern. i do have to admit the coffee blows tims coffee out of the water. possibly cuz they water it down now cuz they think theyre the #### and want to be greedy. well hopefully they’ll feel the wrath of mccafe!i thot id be one to just get the coffee during the free times, but im actually willing to pay for it after the free period is done cuz its that damn good

I’ve been to Mcd’s twice since this promo started. Went through the drive-thru and ordered 2 Sausage McMuffins and 2 Free small coffees. Got my order both times without any issue for $2.92. It was the Mcd’s in Hamilton, the one beside Gage Park if that helps anyone.
