Corrections: The title says E7200 but should actually read E7300. And the slim model is actually the 220s not the 22s… More importantly though, note that you can in fact upgrade these systems to the “venerable E8400” for another 60$. A very worthwhile upgrade IMHO. And if you’re wondering what the practical difference is between the two form-factors (other than the slim sleak look); the slim machine only accepts “low-profile” exapansian cards and has a 250W power supply vs a 300W in the 220 model. So, if you’re looking to add a good graphics card or generally want room to upgrade, go with the non-slim 220 model. |

As Dell has the WORST service in the industry(was on call several hours, with India, US and Central America, and when they do understand what I say, I am transfered to another rep, and so on… And If I want to cancel an order, I have to leave a message for the cancellation Dept!...), I will not buy Dell again, although I have about $10.000 worth of computers from them… |

These aren’t totally identicle. Note that on the SLIM version, you’ll have to use an over-priced “low-profile” video card, where as on the regular version you can just use a normal hieght video card. |

I’ve purchased several desktop units and a couple of notebook models. The desktop models have worked flawlessly. One notebook had problems within the first month - Dell sent a new one to my house without waiting for the original to be sent back first. There were very few questions - just a quick decision to replace it. That’s what I call good service. |
