There's a been a bit of a dry spell for PC offers in recent weeks. With that in mind, you might consider this laptop offer from Dell.ca -- an Intel Core 2 Duo T6670 equipped Vostro 1320 for $579. Here's what you get:

It's a reasonable but not amazing deal for a 13" notebook. Still, if you need a 13" notebook now, this is a decent value. It weighs in at just over 4lbs and since it's part of the Vostro line, it has a 30-day no hassle return policy. That means if you decide not to keep it, there are no restocking or return shipping fees to contend with.
In terms of upgrades, choosing Vista Premium for an additional $30 might be a good idea since it will then qualify for Dell's Windows 7 Upgrade promotion. Shipping is free.

T6670 is not available to choose. Price jumps to $739 unless you choose the Celeron. Poor deal in my opinion.
