The description says “C adapter X 4, D adapter X 4”, but the image shows only 2xC and 2xD adapters. Anyone knows which one’s right (dell has no clue, just talked to them).

If you do a web search for the part # ECH4244 it appears that it does in deed have 4 of each sleeve.

The shipping cost estimator shows $0 for the batteries - but I’m not sure I trust it.  Has anybody completed the order for Ontario?

Posted January 12, 2009 @ 10:11am

If you read above, this line here should answer your question:

“Shipping is free for all products”

Posted January 12, 2009 @ 10:23am

hempopotamus

Dell Days of Deals never charge for shipping. In fact I have never been charged anything from Dell for shipping on any accessory that I have bought from them.

Posted January 12, 2009 @ 10:23am

oogabooga

Sweet.  Just picked up more eneloops.  Free shipping to ON.

Posted January 12, 2009 @ 11:58am

sflower

Yup, just picked up one myself and shipping was free to ON.

Posted January 12, 2009 @ 12:21pm

marvinandro

thanks hempopotamus, yahoo search finds different picture with 4x, so I guess Dell again has no clue what they’re selling (15 mins on hold, talked to a sales rep, then another hold to talk to a support person… in less than 1 hr all I understood from Dell is that “we see the same picture and agree that something is not correct, sir”. Oh, well… I’ve ordered the maximum of 1, let’s see what I’ll get. My just-before-Christmas order of the similar batteries pack has not arrived yet, almost 3 weeks since “shipped”.

Awesome deal on batteries....never can have enough...especially with kids’ electronic gadgets!
Thanks a lot!

anyone know if that bluetooth keyboard/mouse will work with the ps3?

Posted January 13, 2009 @ 9:15am

ILHUB

The day-2 Jabra headset deal says that you have a choice of 4 different headsets - but doesn’t elaborate on how/what the difference is.  Has anybody called to find out what it is?

Posted January 13, 2009 @ 10:23am

AndrewRFD

Hunchbehr—it should.  There’s also confirmation from a few readers in the forum thread for this deal here: http://www.redflagdeals.com/forums/showthread.php?t=686644.

Just bought the bluetooth keyboard. Can’t wait to use it from my couch, controlling the 46” 1080p HDMI output from the laptop.

t0r0nt0

I missed the Eneloop deal.  Can anybody tell me what was included?  I just want to compare with a set I picked up at Costco last year in Chicago - 1 charger, 8xAA, 4xAAA, 2 C-adapters, 2 D-adapters for $24. This was when the CAD was at par with the green back.

Posted January 13, 2009 @ 10:23pm

Thrudd

t0r0nt0 - the set here is 4xAA 2xAAA and 4 of each of the adaptors C/D plus the charger

Looks like you may have gotten the better deal

I think Harmony 880 for 100 bucks is a good price. Only thing I wished in this remote would be having RF signal along with infra red so that I cud have operated my out of sight components

Posted January 14, 2009 @ 9:58am

Eldorado

That’s what the 890 is for

Bought the Internet radio. Had no intention of until someone in the forums mentioned that you could get international radio stations. Good gift for my parents/grandparents. Here’s hoping it’s easy to use if you’re not tech savvy.

Anyone know if the StarTech Home Theatre Cable Essentials Kit @ $39.99 is a good value?

Posted January 14, 2009 @ 2:07pm

Is this a good price for the Slingbox HD? I’ve been looking for an HD tuner to put in between my new Hi def antenna setup and my old HD-ready tv (no HD tuner in it though).
Has it been on sale for cheaper in the past?

Posted January 14, 2009 @ 3:53pm

Bought the 23” LCD. Great price… too good a deal to resist. I definitely don’t need one, but I can give it to my wife and take her 17” to go along with my 24”.

Posted January 15, 2009 @ 10:19am

andrewhaji

I already have 2 monitors but this 23” was just WAY too good a deal to pass up.  I could even resell it right away and get at least an extra $50 on top of what I paid.

Posted January 15, 2009 @ 10:36am

lobsta2k

Just picked up the 23” as well. Finally can close the lid on the latitude, and hook this into the DVI port for a TRUE dual screen experience.

I just impulse-bought FIVE of those freaking 23”. HELP ME.

Posted January 15, 2009 @ 4:15pm

alfredkcp

too sweet to ignore, I’ve just ordered the 23” LCD monitor

Posted January 15, 2009 @ 5:01pm

lobsta2k

Five? WTF are you going to do with Five? I hope you ordered them one at a time, as the deal does not work for multiple cart items.

I just checked my quicken account:

oct 25, 2005 I bought a dell 19” LCD (standard res) for the amazing low price of 299$ during one of their dell 10 days deals....with free shipping!

I just upgraded to the 23” HD. amazing how quality just keeps getting better and prices just keep dropping. Too bad cars were not the same....this is an awesome deal!

Posted January 15, 2009 @ 8:51pm

saberX

the s2309 is an awesome deal for sure.

On the website it says it doesn’t mention anything about a dvi cable. That’s wrong. It does indeed come with one cuz I ordered one b4.

Posted January 15, 2009 @ 9:08pm

carsnick

Great deal on the monitor 1 ordered.

Posted January 15, 2009 @ 11:24pm

I bought the 23” full hd screen this morning and just saw that you can buy the 30” full hd screen at dell with a discount of $400 reduced to $1789. The 23” screen is 1/10th of the price. Unbelievable bargain.

Just bought one as well. You guys..lol.got me all excitied. Did I really need it? prolly not. But hey..if my RFD family is doin it, i’m in. lol. But yes, definately a good deal. And seems to have decent reviews.

HiVolt

The Cyberpower CP825AVRLCD UPS is NOT a true sinewave UPS. It’s a Simulated Sinewave (Square Sinewave). You guys should change the description.

So its still a pretty cheap one. If you want true Sinewave you gotta look for an APC SmartUPS or other network grade UPS.

pil0tflame

Simwit: The reason for the huge price difference between the 23” and 30” monitors you mention is that the 23” monitor use a TN (cheap) panel and the 30” uses an IPS (very expensive) panel. TN is good enough for the average user. People that do design work can benefit from the more accurate colour reproduction of an IPS panel. See here for more info: http://www.pchardwarehelp.com/guides/lcd-panel-types.php

Posted January 16, 2009 @ 4:01pm

simwit

pil0Tflame: Thanks for the info. I never knew the differences in the panels. For my purposes, I am just wanting it for general use and watching blu-ray movies not graphic design or serious photo editing so the 23” is a complete bargain for me. The monitor has already been shipped. Can’t wait for it to arrive.

Posted January 16, 2009 @ 8:03pm

how long does shipping from dell usually take? waiting anxiously for the monitor to arrive lol..

Posted January 17, 2009 @ 10:57am

i bought the 23 inch HD and it shipped yesterday (friday). I expect it will arrive monday/tuesday. I’m impressed so far.

I cant wait for the 2408 monitor to go on sale. i have a 2407 and its awesome. the 2408 looks exactly the same as the 2407 so it will be a perfect pair. but have not seen these go on sale for a very long time. :(

Posted January 17, 2009 @ 6:09pm

are the prices in american? cuz my credit card charged me for american instead of canadian. Any ideas guys?

Posted January 18, 2009 @ 12:26am

aliaskary77

shows international use fee also? or just charging US$? call dell and check.

Posted January 18, 2009 @ 12:48am

MeDS

usually with days of deals stuff arrives next business day for me…

Posted January 18, 2009 @ 12:56pm

kit25

i thought if you purchase from dell.ca then all items should be in CDN…

Posted January 18, 2009 @ 4:21pm

Thrudd

godshoot - should be in CDN$ since its the CDN site and all prices are listed in CDN$

Looks like somebody made and entry error when processing your order - just reply to customer service and they should clear things up.

Posted January 19, 2009 @ 12:44pm

kit25

my order for the 23” still says its “in production”, not even to the shipped status yet :S should i call dell to inquire about this?

Posted January 20, 2009 @ 5:11pm

Better deal at Tiger Direct for this
3Ghz Core 2 Duo E8400 Processor
http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=3574211

This is $30.00 less than Dell… The retail is less at Tiger Direct.  So you don’t really save $100 from Dell.  Buyer beware…

Posted January 20, 2009 @ 6:21pm

tryin012

my S2309W was shipped on 17th.  but I’m still unable to track the shipment on dell’s order status page.  Email Dell but no rely yet.  can anyone track their order on this page?

[http://ausoladcacm.us.dell.com/ostatus/index.asp?language=E&error=validation&refnum=OrderNumber&refnumValue=255052177&verification=CustomerNumber&verificationValue=4660924]

and, did anyone receive S2309W yet? this is my first time ordering from dell and i was just wondering when to expect to get here (vancouver).

Posted January 20, 2009 @ 6:55pm

1nsanity

To moneyguy, that’s the US website for Tigerdirect. It’s actually more like 215$ canadian....seriously......

Posted January 20, 2009 @ 10:37pm

aliaskary77

tryin012, there have been several items from dell that arrived before the tracking number even showed up, or a day or two before the tracking number said it would be there. i would imagine any day now. enjoy!

still hoping the 2408 shows up for 499 again.

Posted January 20, 2009 @ 10:38pm

moneyguy

Mr Insanity!  Sorry about my faux pas.  Your are correct.  Misread the website… Thanks for the heads up.

I ordered the Trendnet Router and got charged 15$ of shipping to QC.  It is the first time I got charged shipping by Dell, and they only showed me the shipping charges AFTER I confirmed.

Posted January 21, 2009 @ 8:53am

The 2408WFP is actually $449.99, not $599.99.  A very nice price.

Posted January 21, 2009 @ 10:15am

AndrewRFD

Yes, they’ve since updated the price.  We’ll update the post!

Posted January 21, 2009 @ 10:55am

any one heard about 3M MPRO110 Mini Professional Projector - $299.99 ...is it really a projector.....Can i use it with my iphone ?

Posted January 22, 2009 @ 12:56pm

Thrudd

Yes its a projector.

It can work with your cell IF and only IF you have a compatible connector or adaptor cable.
RCA or VGA to connect to this little first generation gadget

Definitely a gadget but not very high on the usability scale for these things. Maybe second or third generation units maybe past the gadget level and into the useful device category.
Just so you know - you need a very dark room to see anything reasonably well, or at least as well as these things can go.

Posted January 22, 2009 @ 2:09pm

aliaskary77

like i was saying about shipping…

ordered 2408 on 21st. showed ship on or before 28th. today it shows shipped...on the 22nd.

90% of the time i have received stuff from dell on or before the expected ship dates.
