Dell.ca Deal Details

The description says “C adapter X 4, D adapter X 4”, but the image shows only 2xC and 2xD adapters. Anyone knows which one’s right (dell has no clue, just talked to them).

If you do a web search for the part # ECH4244 it appears that it does in deed have 4 of each sleeve.

The shipping cost estimator shows $0 for the batteries - but I’m not sure I trust it.  Has anybody completed the order for Ontario?

Dell Days of Deals never charge for shipping. In fact I have never been charged anything from Dell for shipping on any accessory that I have bought from them.

thanks hempopotamus, yahoo search finds different picture with 4x, so I guess Dell again has no clue what they’re selling (15 mins on hold, talked to a sales rep, then another hold to talk to a support person… in less than 1 hr all I understood from Dell is that “we see the same picture and agree that something is not correct, sir”. Oh, well… I’ve ordered the maximum of 1, let’s see what I’ll get. My just-before-Christmas order of the similar batteries pack has not arrived yet, almost 3 weeks since “shipped”.

Just bought the bluetooth keyboard. Can’t wait to use it from my couch, controlling the 46” 1080p HDMI output from the laptop.

I missed the Eneloop deal.  Can anybody tell me what was included?  I just want to compare with a set I picked up at Costco last year in Chicago - 1 charger, 8xAA, 4xAAA, 2 C-adapters, 2 D-adapters for $24. This was when the CAD was at par with the green back.

Is this a good price for the Slingbox HD? I’ve been looking for an HD tuner to put in between my new Hi def antenna setup and my old HD-ready tv (no HD tuner in it though).

Bought the 23” LCD. Great price… too good a deal to resist. I definitely don’t need one, but I can give it to my wife and take her 17” to go along with my 24”.

I already have 2 monitors but this 23” was just WAY too good a deal to pass up.  I could even resell it right away and get at least an extra $50 on top of what I paid.

Just picked up the 23” as well. Finally can close the lid on the latitude, and hook this into the DVI port for a TRUE dual screen experience.

The Cyberpower CP825AVRLCD UPS is NOT a true sinewave UPS. It’s a Simulated Sinewave (Square Sinewave). You guys should change the description.

So its still a pretty cheap one. If you want true Sinewave you gotta look for an APC SmartUPS or other network grade UPS.

Simwit: The reason for the huge price difference between the 23” and 30” monitors you mention is that the 23” monitor use a TN (cheap) panel and the 30” uses an IPS (very expensive) panel. TN is good enough for the average user. People that do design work can benefit from the more accurate colour reproduction of an IPS panel. For my purposes, I am just wanting it for general use and watching blu-ray movies not graphic design or serious photo editing so the 23” is a complete bargain for me. The monitor has already been shipped. Can’t wait for it to arrive.

I cant wait for the 2408 monitor to go on sale. i have a 2407 and its awesome. the 2408 looks exactly the same as the 2407 so it will be a perfect pair. but have not seen these go on sale for a very long time. :(

I ordered the Trendnet Router and got charged 15$ of shipping to QC.  It is the first time I got charged shipping by Dell, and they only showed me the shipping charges AFTER I confirmed.

Definitely a gadget but not very high on the usability scale for these things. Maybe second or third generation units maybe past the gadget level and into the useful device category.
Just so you know - you need a very dark room to see anything reasonably well, or at least as well as these things can go.
